the georgian bread seems like a cross between a large pita and naan... thick around the edges and thinner in the center and about 50 cm in diameter...

Riki, I remember the cook at my friends in India. I drink my tea without milk and sugar, so quite weak and she always laughed saying we were only taking the colour of the tea and not its goodness if you didn't brew it for longer (and used milk and sugar)

actually here they don't seem to brew the tea for long though, but do that right with the milk... and the coffee usually seems quite weak too. but that might be a regional thing, don't know... i like tea with milk, sugar and kardamom, though...
btw, wasn't there something about different properties of the tea influencing you depending on the time you brew it?
as for breakfast, it was appam and some kind of chicken curry.

I need to find something more healthy and also fulfilling for breakfast from now on. I have no imagination at that time of day.

Well, I used to have bacon or sausage sandwiches, or cheese toasties for breakfast most days. Since the new year I am having toast and a banana to save money and I have lsot so much weight. How odd.

In my country, you don't have a big breakfast. It is either toast or croissants.
No one has bacon and eggs.
So my breakfast is toast with butter or jelly.

Most loveliest breakfast today.
Mr Star was up early preparing chorizo and red pepper omelette baguettes for his mega tattoo session today and as I lay in bed pottering on here he made me a little omelette with toast to try, with a fresh coffee of course.
He then popped out to the bakers to get the bread and also came back with warm chocolate croissants.
Mmmmmm. Might not move all day now.

Mrs Faz telephoned the guest who is coming next week to check on any dietary quirks. No, I'm easy, the guest said. Oh good, Mrs Faz said, we have fruit juice, toast and coffee for breakfast - is that all right? No, I like a cooked breakfast.
