Don't be dumb like me and leave anything valuable in the van, then. I lost my pocket camera (a spare I was carrying in case the main camera failed) and a GPS unit, neither of which should have been left in the car. Keep important stuff in a fanny pack and with you at all times.

Just booked a flight to the UK at the beginning of February, then over to Spain and from there, back to Cairo. Ten days in all.
A visit to my Dad and one to our house.

When you go to Chitzinitza,check out a small town/city by the name of Villadolid. Firmly agree, we spent a couple of days in Villadolid - we even ventured into a nightclub Santos y Pecadores - which was very funny as we were totally under-dressed and freezing because they had serious aircon. We stayed in a backpackers that had a beautiful garden. It is also where we witnessed a turtle killing a pigeon, that still makes me shiver! |

On saturday we'll head to California and stay close to Yosemite park, in a small village hiltoncreek.com/photos2.aspxAnd tomorrow, if it's not to stormy we'll go to tdxc.com/home a cross country ski area with groomed trails. They have tons and tons of snow right now and it's beautiful winterwonderland. Plus, it's less than an hour driving from where we live. |

Headed to the coast for my birthday, nothing to exciting, but it is always nice to see the ocean and eat some good seafood. The water is too cold for my tastes, so swimming is out, though.

We are going to Marrakech for a long weekend at end of March...just me and Mr Star which will be lovely it has been over a year since we went away just the two of us. Can't wait.
Just about to book flights in the squeezyjet sale for a week camping in Lido de Jesolo in June, very excited. We’ll have a day or two in Venice as well.

I've been a few times and absolutely love it there, I don't know why but feel so at home there. The Mr has never been so really looking forward to showing him why I love it so much. I took my Mum a few years ago and she also fell in love and went back soon after taking my brother who in turn took his son a few months later, it is that kind of fall in love place! Move it up your to do list right to the top happy, you won't regret it!
