baltic sea trip is over and was very nice. on monday the next one, though not sure it counts: going to my mom's to work from there, as the daycare is closed (and my mom took off work to help me with a.)

Tomorrow we are off to Romsey for a few days, staying in Mrs Faz's sister's house which is right in the centre next to the abbey.

Hi All!
Some interesting plans for me are fast approaching...
The cottage in Ardfern for two weeks starting Saturday. Much needed downtime from work and life stresses.
Chicago in October. A week visiting our families' US branches. Chicago was selected as a great central hub for our relatives/the Rat Girls/ long lost friends to get to. 17th to 24th if any of you guys are around and fancy meeting up?
Then Club La Santa on lanzarote for warm weather training camp in February. To be my launch pad for a season of triathlon and cycling events. I've been bitten with the fitness bug this summer and am looking forward to some competitions next year.

Big Sur in a couple of days... visiting a friend who is cruising around in an RV. I may even get to hit the springs at Esalen.

Off to Corfu tomorrow for a week. I love Greece. Not so sure if I will like Corfu that much. But maybe that will be actually not caused by Korfu but the kind of vacation. all inclusive vacation- first in my life........ If they serve Greek food (NO ketchup with the Mousssaka!!!) - all will be good.  |

We have been away for a few days in Romsey and the weather has been sunny. We are returning home tomorrow - and rain is forecast. It is cooling down now so I think our last diiner here will not be in the garden. |

But anyway, dinner in the garden in England - well, that's too cold for me, I managed with an almost winterjacket while the english People sat ther in short sleves...and then, I slept well under two duvets  |

Welle, I'm a little green with envy. I LOVE Eselan, especially the massages, tubs, scenery, atmosphere. So cool that you're going.
Scruffy's doing the Grand Canyon next week. He's invited me to come along as his photo blogger so I'll go but I'm not much of a photographer. If we have time, we'll go up to Hopi to visit friends.
(Trip is a birthday present from niece Juana who lives in Flagstaff.)

we were not scheduled to go anywhere until february... arghhhh...
so we picked a quickie: a one week cruise from venice down and up the adriatic so we can have a taste of croatia and montenegro, as well as places in greece and italy where we've not been before in october... decided on the cruise since we only wanted a short get-away and didn't want to do any driving...
hopefully we'll be able to meet up with barbi in trieste...

Wiki, are you back to work or is that a vacation schedule? Trying to figure out the 9 weeks in Seoul and it sounds like work to me.

My next trip is a modest 4 day trip to go camping off the grid in the hills near Hollister... with a couple of hundred friends This will happen in early September. Then Las Vegas over Thanksgiving. |

Annie, Corfu was okay,this type of hotel is not for me. But we where with bf kids- so it was a good fit.
So far the food here in Korea is good.
