Well it's backwards, but just back from the Canadian Rockies, Jasper and Banff (speaking of climbing). Wow is it beautiful there and we did a lot of long day hikes Wish I could exercise so well at home; but trails next to rushing streams with waterfalls and views of mountains and glaciers from the clearings makes it a lot easier to keep walking. Suburban streets just aren't the same.

London next Thursday for 2 nights (for a conference) then to Potters Bar to take my eldest son and his GF out for dinner on Saturday. Then on Sunday we fly up to Inverness to spend a few days with our other son who lives up there. Will only be away 5 days in all but really looking forward to the break.

"...Ane when the night was over There were four and twenty less..."
You can google for the whole lyrics. Unfortunately they are rude without being witty.

Singing balls to your partner Arse against the wall If you never get fucked on a Saturday night You'll never get fucked at all
Happy Saturday :-)
Anyway, I hadn't heard that one for donkey's years but the verse above is how my old man used to sing the 4 and 20 virgins song in the car when I was a kid.

There was f***in' i' the stable, there was f***in' i' the ricks An' ye couldna' hear the music for the swishin' o' the pricks I'll confess I cheated and asked the google-oracle. Still, I learned that the song, the "Ball of Kerrimuir," begins: Twas on the first of August the party, it began. Now, never shall I forget, me lads, the gatherin' of the clans... So soon let us all hoist a tankard and petard in'ts honor!
