as per gobbsie's orders:
25 january fly to bangkok... 31 jan fly to yangon/rangoon to drive around burma for 3 weeks... we will have our own guide, car and driver so if anyone wants to join us we can arrange for an appropriately sized vehicle (romily from ttwt is joining us for a couple of days in mandalay)... 22 february fly to singapore to bug tralalah et al... 24 february fly back to bangkok to fly home on the 25th...
enough lead time, gobbsie?...

Off to Hertfordshire on Monday morning, staying there for 2 nights in a place called Herpenden but going into London with Mrs. H (or should I say Mrs. F) and our daughter on Wednesday. Our daughter has never been to London so will be showing he the sights. reason for visit is a school interview for her on Tuesday as she will leave us next September to study in old.
Back home for a bit them back off to Asia on Nov 2nd for 3 weeks of being a sad lonely git propping up hotel bars :-)

Have a 3 week solo Asia trip coming up soon, starting Nov 2nd, will be the usual Macau/HK/KL jaunt. But have 3 weekends to kill, the first one I will stay put in KL, just after arriving. Weekend nº 3 am booked to go to Shanghai to visit my mate who lives there, his missus will be away so we are staying the city and will e having some fun. The other weekend and thinking either Phuket or Bangkok on my own.

I can Baz and have been thinking about that as I have been to Northern Thailand, just done Bangkok many a time and quite a lot of the south. But I will probably end up in Phuket so I can do a bit of diving. Flight from KL is really cheap plus good connections on to HK. Not that fond of Phuket but for a sad git solo weekend it ticks most of the boxes.

Finally got my November trip sorted so if any Potters are in any of these places let me know:
2nd - fly Paris CGD to KL (Via Muscat)
3rd to 8th - KL
9th and 10th - Weekend in Phuket
11th to 15th - Hong Kong and Macau
16th and 17th - Weekend in Shanghai
18th to 21st - KL again
22nd - To London Heathrow via Muscat
23rd - Home sweet home.
3 weeks away from home alone so will be my longest stint yet but the weekend breaks will help.
