just finishing up lyon - it is superb: great scenery along the river banks and hills and magnificent medieval and renaissance buildings... with some roman ruins thrown in... we are a bit blown away by it... on friday we're training down to barcelona for our last week... then home until next year!

Ive not stopped off in Lyon but have heard many good reports about the old town. I have only ever seen the suburbs from one autoroute and the refineries from the other autoroute. I think that this taints the opinion of a lot of people, myself certainly included
I drove past Edinburgh airport yesterday morning. With perfect timing a plane took off in to a cloudless bright sky! I thought to myself... Hmmm, Nice would be good for lunch today. My only planned trip is the last week in November through at the cottage in Ardfern.

Nowhere fast, although I wouldn't mind a weekend in the Cederberg or up the coast somewhere!

I can see a trip to Tunisia is coming, for business. I love Tunisia (if I'd been to the real tourist places maybe I wouldn't). Where are you going?

Nothing planned, but I am seriously thinking of doing SEA very soon. I just need a travel partner or to find a good tour to join.

I will be visiting Sousse and Sfax basically to meet some customers. Dont know if I will have time to visit touristic places. I am just waiting for the new products to be finished to present them there.

Well for business up north for sure. Unless i can get someone else to go. That might be from May onwards. Might definitely be going to Zambia close to the Zambezi river first half of the year i hope.
Then definitely a trip overseas. Just not sure where yet.

I am definitely getting wanderlust, after two years of staying closer to home to supervise the building of a lake cottage. But more distant places are beginning to beckon, so will have to conjure up a "big trip" for 2012. Mr. Kimby is less enthusiastic, so may need to conjure up a travel pal as well.
