cute indeed. My lovely 15 months old son looks into my eyes and throws a sincere laugh when he hears himself farting.

Miss Molly piped up this morning, out of the blue. "Mama, do yo know that the stars dont disappear dring the day? It's just the sky that is so bright you cant see them. Then when it goes dark at night, you can see them again. Clever hey?"

Lil Star was getting upset on the rare occasions my Mum picked her up from nursery so we agreed with the nursery that my Mum waits out at the office and one of the girls brings Amaia out to her and it has worked a treat and she has never been upset again.
She told my friend this morning when I was dropping her off that her Grandma can’t come inside at nursery as she is too big and might break the door down so they make her wait outside and she is so big because she has a super enormous baby in her tummy and it has been in there for ages.

I think my favorite ever came last night. The girl was taking to her cousin about Tuesday night, we had to collect her from nursery early as the police were closing the area because of riots and she'd obviously overheeard various onversations and got them a bit confused:
"well, we didn't go to the park last night because it was a BAD night, it was a SCARY night. All the shops were shut, they had their shutters down. We had to go home because the roads were full of very, very, bad Estate Agents, the Estate Agents were running around breaking things"

This morning Miss Molly was talking about her birthday party (she has been planning it for months already and it is only at the end of Nov). She often asks what her brothers are going to do on the day because she wants a dress up box full of things that her and her friends can play in and she doesnt think her brothers would like that very much. So this morning she says "Mama, you know my brothers can do anything they want on my birthday. As long as it is not irritating, dangerous or illegal!"

hehe... how old is she, and how old are her brothers?
btw, just remembered my little brother a few years ago (when he was maybe three) at my dad's birthday party. when i got to their place, quite a few guests had already arrived, and my brother was very excited and told me "Look, all these people are coming to MY house". well it doesn't look that cute in writing, but the way he said it, it really was... afterwards he was a fan of "parties" and as soon as there were more than two guests in the house, he said that we should have a party.

hm, spoke to my brother on the phone yesterday (he is on vacation and called me saying he misses me). apparently he found a toad while we were speaking and he told me he will torture the toad now. i told him not to, and said that animals feel pain too, and that he wouldn't like it either if someone tortured him. he told me, that would happen all the time, and he would always have to do things he doesn't like. but in the end me and his mom together could convince him of letting the toad go free rather...

I have worn glasses forever. Yesterday I got a trial pair of contacts to try (again) to wear them. I put them in and carried on with the everyday things. My 13 yr old H said "where are your glasses mom?" I told him. He responded "cool". His twin brother jumped up from the couch to have a look at his glassless mother. His response "You are soooooo beautiful mom!" Ah! Precious boy with a heart of gold that one!! xx

Posted this before but almost choked trying not to laugh when on the tube in London a small kid, many 3 or 4, was sitting opposite me and turned to his mum and asked "mummy, why does that man have no hair?". She was horrified.

She had a good laugh about it once she realised I was not going to eat her child. I love the "whisper" that young kids have which is exactly the same volume as their normal voice.
My autistic nephew, when he was around 7 or 8, remarked out very loud when walking past a bloke with large ears " just look at those ears" in the voice and style of one of the other elephants does in Dumbo, when Dumbo is seen for the first time. My sister and I could hardly stand because we were laughing so much once he had left our vicinity. That is one of the funniest things I have ever witnessed.
