Coronation Street. I watch I and sometimes wish I lived in that reality. Sometimes I watch it and feel better about my life. Mostly, I just watch it for mindless entertainment. I don't have to 'think' about it and like that there is no 'message' in it and they don't get preachy.
Bachelors in Paradise. Just discovered it. LMAO! I think it sets women back 100 yrs. Tho I wonder if I had my 25 yr old body if I would go on a show like that. Nah, I like brains. Not in the zombie sense
Buffy the Vampire Slayer I re-watch the DVDs since the show went off air in 2003.
Batman cartoons in any form. Avengers cartoons in any form. Game of Thrones. Nasty and violent but can't help but tune in. Loved Trueblood for a while as well.
You?

If there's nothing much on and I want to vegetate in front of something easily digested a trawl through the high numbered channels usually ends up on a wobbly camera following the police around at night in some unknown town full of drunk kids.

I have yet to buy a TV set. I briefly had access to a TV when I was in a shared house, where I'd watch stuff like "how clean is your house" or cookery programmes when the other tenants weren't about. I found those shows fascinating and a window into the psyche of England as I had just moved here.

Hi Auntie, I tried living without a TV. I lasted 5 days.
It's not like I watch intently, I like the background noise. When I go out, I leave it on for Max. Not sure if he watches. lol

I wouldn't count GoT as a guilty pleasure - it's awesome :-)
Graphic novels (cartoons) and Buffy is geeky not a guilty pleasure too imo.
My guilty pleasure are SYTYCD, ANTM (or any other country for that matter) and Dirty Dancing".
Oh and "World's strongest man". Love that show.

That's very funny but a bit creepy.
Cheered me up any way.

Coronation Street is a guilty pleasure for me too. Sometimes I think I'd like to quit but I'm too wrapped up in it now not to follow it. I also enjoy The Amazing Race and binge watching series on netflicks...House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, and of course Game of Thrones.

I don't know if I could (if given a shot) date or marry a guy like that. He's prettier than I am! A younger Tom Welling is a guy that's too pretty imo.
Had a great dream last night. I was married to Thor! The Chris Hemsworth version.

I hear what you're saying. But I'm pretty sure I could do it. Thor is a hottie too!

GoT TrueBlood
About 10 years ago I found myself hooked on watching "The Search for the Next Pussycat Doll". I was horrified with myself, but couldn't stop. That, plus ~3 episodes of "America's next top model" are the only reality tv I've ever watched.

I think I am enjoying The Leftovers, BUT, they need to hurry and make it clear what the bloody plot is. Everytime I think I figure it out there is a twist. It's not about 'the rapture' at all. Or is it???

i'm guessing it's a play on the rapture w a reveal or cliffhanger if the series is renewed i agree that it's kinda plotless
like watching chris eccleston need more paterson joseph

i like buffy the vampire slayer and game of thrones too - wouldn't say i feel guilty about it though. they are both pretty good shows imho ...
guilty ... some of the sitcoms i watched lately are a bit very silly maybe ... like melissa and joey, and seed ...

I don't feel guilty about watching TV! Although I do confess to sometimes watching Air Crash Investigation - I'm fascinated with how they work out what went wrong.
I declined to watch any in the weeks leading up to this trip, though :-)
