I thought of something to post but when the time came, the thought was gone, so I had a snack instead and that fixed it. The butter is starting to soften.

well..." “One swallow does not make a summer, neither does one fine day; similarly one day or brief time of happiness does not make a person entirely happy.” so sayeth Aristotle . ..

"When the Swallows Come Back to Capistrano" is a song written by Leon René and first recorded by The Ink Spots featuring Bill Kenny in May 1940.[1] The Ink Spots' recording of the song reached No. 4 on the US charts.
Background René wrote the song as a tribute to the annual springtime return of the cliff swallows to Mission San Juan Capistrano in Southern California. A glassed-off room in the mission was later designated in René's honor, and displays the upright piano on which he composed the tune, the reception desk from his office, several copies of the song's sheet music and other pieces of furniture, all donated by René's family.
and:They land at the mission in San Juan, California, on or around St. Joseph's Day, March 19, to the ringing bells of the old church and a crowd of visitors from all over the world who are in town awaiting their arrival and celebrating with a huge fiesta as well as a parade. So - the silly song about clicking while you play the piana... actually makes sense !
ain't it fun what you can find on wiki ?

You can't really see my house - just a teeny little piece of pink .. the big conical bush is on the corner, and the smaller one to it's right is next to the front door... I wish I were there - even tho I would have to shovel the walk to the driveway (after the plow guy gets there)

The forecast here is a colder than normal March and maybe April too. We've had some warm days, and not tooooo much of the real deep freeze type weather this winter, but there's still time for worse!

We opened the curtains this morning and found the roofs were covered with snow. And more snow keeps falling (though not much).
