We are all basking in the glow from your awesomeness, lefty!!! Well, maybe not me....it's another rainy morning here. My north side is covered with moss and there are mushrooms growing between my toes. I may have to move closer to lefty.

mapes, think rainy thoughts this way. it rained nicely two nights ago so it hasn't been so bad, but the heat is starting to crank up again.

I'm trying to resist digging into the awesome tub of gelato I have in the freezer. It is not raining, but probably will for most of the week. No fish tacos, but apparently a fish and chip shop near my work does them.

Was yesterday a day off?
Odd to see The Nerd Table slip down off the New Topics page.
I hope everyone is alright.

Hello nerds! No need to worry, slowcoach, I think nerd table nerds are just easily distracted. I know I've been distracted because we finally got some sunshine and I didn't want to be inside on the computer. Thanks for your concern though! Hi tiny!!!

sorry about your lack of sunshine, slowcoach. here is some sunshine for you: my husband is away for work and my son told me last night, "mommy, i'm going to TRY not to cry." he's doing a great job.
mapes, felicidades on your sunshine.
i was really thinking (hoping praying) it would rain tonight but it doesn't look like it...

Good Noon,
Does rain migrate? Or is it just here for an extended vacation?
But it isn't raining now, probably gone back to reload.
Your sunshine gifts I welcome there is plenty of room for them in that big dull thing called sky.
Still no birds to see, but there must be some sneaky ones, for the level in the bird feeders is very slowly dropping. Perhaps the seed is hurling itself to the ground out of boredom and existential superfluity.

Mark, you should be in Maryland tonight and tomorrow. We'll have plenty of rain according to forecasts. It will even be below 25C for a few hours.

I think I might. I've just gone outside onto the patio and forgot to put my shoes on. Burnt feet nearly.

No cooler jeff, as expected it was hotter - but I did live in a house in the suburbs where there was a lot of greenery (in comparison). Here in an apartment it just seems hotter.

i know... since i moved to the new place overlooking the beach we've only had the a/c on a couple of times - the sea breeze is usually sufficient... better late than never
