Hi tiny! I'm here...I have been mostly OUTSIDE lately, hiking, biking and playing in my garden. Of course I'm going to check in for fish taco night, though! We are having grilled steak and asparagus...cooked and eaten OUTSIDE, but I will be silently cheering for fish taco night!
On a bird nerd note, there is a crow nesting in a maple tree right outside our bedroom window. The crow alarm goes off at 4:30 am every morning. Very inconsiderate!
I hope your pre-exam stress is gone now, annie!

yum; your dinner sounds delicious. eating outside sounds nice. our patio is right outside the cuteness' room so we haven't eaten outside in many a moon. but i have made the sides for the fish tacos already, and the boy is in the shower, so it's all good.

Hello nerdlings. Lefty, I'm glad you have a job, I hope you can get everything else you need soon.
It's coolish here too, 19C and overcast. I love it. The alternative is the 30C+ and humid sunshine that is heading our way later this week.
Mapes, I'll talk to the crows. They should know that 6 am is when the alarm goes off.
Fish tacos and steak, how nice. What did I have for dinner last? Right, appetizers at a meeting I went to yesterday afternoon, and a salad with smoked salmon that the lovely Liiiiiiiiisa prepared after we got home.

Thanks for offering to talk to the crows, pero. This morning the crow alarm went off at 4:17am! 6am would be fine, that's when I normally wake up. Good luck reasoning with them, though. They talk right over everything I try to say.

Woohoo - have a great time, Rosie!
Just finished a 4 day weekend here, with really nice weather every day. Went for a few bikerides (including about 3.5 hours yesterday!), ate some yummy food, drank some delicious mojitos, planted a garden, visited my parents and my MIL, did a little bird watching, read a fair bit - it was relaxing and nice.

back home now. thanks for your thoughts etc during exam time. It helped greatly.
Can you imagine I left my phone in the exam room? I only noticed once I was in the tube carriage. thankfully it is the head of the line and I was able to slip back out and run back to campus... and the building was still available so I could grab the phone from where I'd left it and still make it to the station well in time for my train back home.

Good morning world.
We had a big windstorm here last night and this morning a branch of the cherry tree is lying in the yard. It looks like the crows nest is still intact. Still nothing compared to the strength of a tornado!
I'm glad you got your phone back, annie. Exams are done now?
