Never heard of Oscar Myer weenies but the tune is catchy. This was popular when Is was a nipper.

^ you're old when you still wear a watch that people can read - as long as they can handle one that has hands, not digital ~

I wear a Casio F-91W and have done so for more years that I can remember though the one I have now is about the fifth or sixth. The highlight of it is -
"...the Casio F-91W digital watch was declared to be 'the sign of al-Qaeda' and a contributing factor to continued detention of prisoners by the analysts stationed at Guantanamo Bay. Briefing documents used to train staff in assessing the threat level of new detainees advise that possession of the F-91W and the A159W – available online for as little as £4 – suggests the wearer has been trained in bomb making by al-Qaeda in Afghanistan." United States military intelligence officials have identified the F-91W as a watch that terrorists use in constructing time bombs."

Mine is a man's Timex ( to get a big enough face to read !) - plus the age old feature of "indiglo" -- Slow , your watch must not have been a Timex - they "take a lickin' and keep on tickin'" Mark...heh heh - good on ya!

My first watch was a silver marcasite watch my parents gave me for Christmas 1966 which later was stolen. My current watch is a Seiko Limited Edition solar watch which adjusts itself to time in various parts of the world. If you’re in Japan, the watch will automatically change to Japanese time, if you fly to Germany, the watch will automatically change to German time, if you fly to America, the watch will automatically change to American time. If you fly to Australia nothing happens. Because we don’t have the whatever it is necessary!

Mine is a Casio and like Netsie's it is solar powered. Some time during the night it receives a signal from a satellite that gives the correct time which is useful when the clocks change for summer/winter time. Alas I have to select which satellite I use so when we go to Thailand it would need a lot of fiddling with. I can't be bothered with that and so I take a cheap watch. One thing I insist on is that it is waterproof so I can wear it in the shower or the sea.

There is an array of pictures of once popular objects from bygone times.
The suggestion is that only the old will recognise them.
So far, so good.
But there is one that I didn't recognise.
An Atari games console.
What's a games console?

An Atari games console. What's a games console? Atari were one of the first game consoles and cheaper too out here before Sega and Nintendo then there was Super Nintendo aka Supernes. Imagine a camera with a roll of film in it, well a game console is an item in which you insert a piece of hardware to play a game. You connect one or two controllers and off you go! I was never much interested in the things, I’d rather do a crossword or mindnpuzzles.
