Saw it today as it was raining...
Well, where do I start! It's a Brad Pitt Film and for Lads...
It's Tanks and Tracer bullets and gore.
It's a War Film that isn't saying anything more that has been already told in sooooo many War Films...
The bonding between a close male Unit and the Futility of War...
Why that scene with Brad and the male and the 2 Females in some German Town went on for so long and didn't end up on the Editor's Floor I will never know as it was absolute Shite and almost a 'Filler'...
If you think it's better than Saving Private Ryan then we will seriously disagree on this one, MrK!

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes..2014..
I can remember the bastard TV Series in the early 80's!
Good but not Great film...Made you think about who actually starts Wars etc but, ultimatly, just another Hollywood CGI Block Buster to rake the $'s in...

Everything is the same with those shite movies and even Snickers (Marathon) have taken the Pi55 out them in recent adverts!
Crouching Tiger; Hidden Pants was the best of that genre...

I haven't seen The Basketball Diaries, either!
Lone Survivor is cracking and one above the Oscar winner, The Hurt Locker, and Jarhead and Platoon but one below Full Metal Jacket, Saving Private Ryan and The Thin Red Line...

Lucy was certainly Crappy but better than the slush that was 'Her'!
I don't like Basketball. I don't like any Yank Sports. I do watch the 1st Quarter of the Super Bowl because I always have.
Starting to watch The Red Riding Trilogies set in Yorkshire and loosly based around The Yorkshire Ripper. A mate lent me the 3 DVD's so I can bide my time.

Hurrah!
ichi was Mentaloid! eff why the Japs make those sicko Films - like Gun Woman - says much about their Mental Stability in my books - Barking Mad!
I watched Live, Die, Repeat as the US call it but over here it's Edge of Tomorrow.
A great yarn with Thomas Cruise but the 1st 30 minutes was Saving Private Ryan, the end was Aliens and the whole thing was a Video Game (Like you get killed and Start from your last place)?
Still entertained me.
