it occurs to me that the Fazes may not wish to be in the same bars as we would visit, Pepe?

He seems to keep his space safe and be alone...I respect that.

now the Fazes are no longer online. Maybe its a site mistake on here? I think they are too busy with moving house. Baz has 5 freezers and 4 microwaves to move. This is where all the wonderful food is produced,

Let me tell you that we are both shattered - not from drinking wine. This moving house is very exhausting as we pack box after box, make decisions about where things should go. We had a session yesterday as we tried to match our furniture with the rooms in our new place. Although we shall enjoy more floorspace, the top floor is an attic conversion with sloping ceilings. This means we cannot place furniture right to the edge of the room.. We made an instant decisoon that a sofa-bed in the sitting room must go - and today it has been taken by a happy villager.
I tend to be too thorough in the packing. When Mrs Faz was in England a couple of weeks ago I packed all the books. All. She came back and complained she had nothing to read. Fortunately her birthday brought a couple of books. Tonight I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner - and found that this morning I had packed all the sharp knives. We unsealed a box and liberated one.

We have been to three French farewell diinners in succession. The next two nights are to British people. Tomorrow should be interesting Andy is Britain's censor. That is to say that he is the head (indeed I think the whole of it) of the D-Notice Advisory Committee. They don't actually censor tricky things any more. Andy sort of negotiates with editors about things that perhaps shouldn't be published. In fact he is a great bloke and lots of fun. They have a holiday home here and arrive today. Food is awful but there is plenty of wine.

Iain, you will be most welcome. According to yesterday's plan and the mountain of boxes, the 2 guest rooms look cramped for a bit. But Mrs Faz will attack it and at least one room will be possible by the end of next week.
Who will visit first? Iain? Writeon? Geeky? Maybe Pepe will decide he needs a honeymoon there.
You are all welcome.

Now you folks must excuse me but I am going to bed. It is only 11.15 here but this moving house and going to farewell dinners is exhausting.

Sorry, we all sat on the sofa like a bunch of twats to see if Derren Brown could stick us to our chairs. Needless to say, it didn't work .....
