I watch Korean television programs on Netflix or if the series is no longer on Netflix, usually it can be found on Youtube. The only problem is sometimes the volume isn’t what it should be and if I increase the volume, then it’s too loud for the ads in between.

Our dishwasher died after 16 years of service. We bought a new one, same manufacturer, supposedly same model. Except (as I have moaned here before) the techies have gone on a joyride and redesigned the top shelf. It now takes two-thirds of what it handled before and even that is with fumbling to place glasses in positions which are now out of sight. Plus previously we had a default setting. Now each time we must choose what setting we want - 3 buttons to set the machine running instead of one button. And this is progress?

The pipes on the wall that go to our air conditioner leak. Landlord/service person's suggestion is thy we always run the air con on cooler temperatures and stronger blow so that the pipes get hotter and the leaking water evaporates. The ridiculousness of this suggestion really bothers me - terrible for the environment and will cost us more in electricity.

booking train tix and hotel rooms is more than tedious. planning the journey is dreamy, but the the websites seem to get worse as the years go.

Why can’t we buy coloured toilet paper anymore? I used to buy green or orange but never pink. Our toilet was Autumn colours.

I went for my hair cut appointment despite having a bad headache and feeling like cr@p. It was pouring rain to make things more annoying. Got there on time though and the hairdressers was no longer there. They had moved 8 months ago. My last hair cut was over a year ago and I don't get out much to do things for myself so had no idea. Got to the new location but had to pay a fortune in parking and walk through the rain as I had no time to research parking in the area because I was now late. My Haircut is nice though so that's a plus.

Texted next level up of management to see how they were coping as badly affected in his area and was really surprised when he replied. Phones out. Power out, but got the wifi running on batteries. Cracked up laughing as he then asked my advice as to which are the ones that we have removed from service as they explode under pressure. He then admitted he had raided one of the spare vans and hasn't changed a battery for work in 20 years. They were safe but 40 amp so a bit of an overkill. .
