I'm so happy today, I bought the most beautiful cobalt blue boots online and can hardly wait for them to arrive. The colour is called Antique-Cobalt. They're an ankle boot, soft leather, beautiful ruched upper, handmade in Portugal. And 41% off!
I was very lucky, I bought the last pair in my size.
I'll have to start singing the Elvis song, "Don't step on my Blue Blue Shoes/Boots"!

They sound lovely!
I'm happy because when I got up this morning I immediately cleaned the Saskatoon berries we picked yesterday. It went very quickly so it didn't turn into a tedious task, and it turned out we have enough for a pie as well as an extra bunch for eating in fruit salad and on ice cream.

Sounds awesome. We're you searching for such a pair or did you do some random online browsing?
I couldn't buy shoes online ad I like then to fit in a certain way, I guess. I don't always like the comfort level of shoes I try on in stores so wouldn't risk ordering online unless I had the exact same pair already.

I polished my brown leather shoes and they are so shiny I can see my face in them. Almost.

My beautiful blue boots arrived yesterday (Saturday) and I wore them last night for supermarket shopping. I spent twenty minutes looking for a pair of black socks to wear with them!
They are a slightly narrower design with a slightly pointier toe, but comfortable and after five minutes seemed like old friends.
EOS is the only shoe brand that fit like a velvet glove and my feet feel like they're walking on clouds. Well worth the money! You can see them on my facebook page.

Going to the recycling centre (it used to be called the tip) and emptying 8 bags of prunings from our magnolia tree. We always feel good. after that. Unfortunately we have to do it every year. The previous owners of our house bought a magnolia, thinking it was a shrub. Big mistake

Lumi I was looking for another pair of boots with this type of sole. This is the only brand of footwear I know I can buy and have no problems. I too have funny feet and have a lot of difficulty. With this brand that never happens. They aren't cheap but they're worth it.

I've been wanting a pair of pink Ted Baker sneakers, but they're out of my size, plus they're more than I could justify spending.
Imagine my luck at finding them on Amazon, in my size and at a much cheaper price. So I snapped them up quickly.

A bowl of mixed berries: raspberries from the allotment, blackberries from some bushes on the way home and strawberries from the shop. The flavours just mixed magically.

catching up with my friend Judy, with whom I worked at Saratoga Polo about 20 years ago, before she "ran away and joined the circus" - now being the Deputy Director of the whole thing and Head of Big-Top tour.

the ham & brie sandwich i made Sometimes I prefer Brie, yet at other time I just love Camembert. Our IGA supermarket stocks Ile de France - delicious cheeses from certain areas in France. I love their Tranches de Brie and Tranches d'Emmental for sandwiches. They have some really good recipes on their website.
