There was a nightie with a large letter on the front with some flowers twined around it. The letter is the first letter of my name. So, I bought the nightie. It said “Only 1 left in stock” It is now saying “Sold out” I am very pleased. P.S. When I say “nightie” I don’t mean one of the granny nighties for old people, this is a v-neck, short sleeved navy A-line. 100% bamboo. P.P.S. Remembering the nighties I wore many moons ago when I was in my late 20’s/early 30’s, I wouldn’t be caught dead in those! They’re so oold looking.

You would have to stamp "Only 1 left in stock" on my chest.

Tuis . I can't link on this but they have been fabulous this year. Noisy but I forgive a 4.30 or 5am wake up call as it's so musical and great to see them back in numbers.

I just realised this - I woke up which means I’m not dead yet. I should be giving thanks I did wake up when so many don’t. It is something we don’t think about but take for granted.

going to the first polo match of the season and having many joyous reunions after a year of not coming. Sounds exciting, Voy. And will youall be polo-itically correct and be stomping on the divots?

Netski - no. It is the Champagne divot stomp - with a truck giving out free champagne ( or ice creams ) - while the groundsmen do the fixing. I stay in the stadium and catch up with folks. I DO divot stomp on the back fields - where it's just us polo-people - and not the wannabees grabbing the free drinks....

Voy - I like the sound of Champagne, have you ever had Mimosa? I was introduced to this delightful drink in November and guzzled my way through seven or eight glasses, not realising they were alcoholic. I just thought it was fizzy orange juice! Lovely drink, very more-ish.
Re Divot stomping - Personally I wouldn’t ruin my shoes by stomping on horse shit - I don’t care how many “Ladies”, Countesses, or Duchesses take part, flattening horse shit is not my idea of “fun”! (I’m obviously not high highfalutin enough!)

love mimosas too - aka Buck's Fizz. And the prime rule of divot stomping is " only stomp on the GREEN side '!

Apparently citizens of the UK are entitled to free medical care in Malta for a month. This presumably means I can get the dressing changed on my wretched foot when it is needed.
