I need to get my butt kicked into shape.. today was one of those kinds of days where I drove all over the place doing errands. I don’t think driving can be considered exercise!

I've kept up the exercise - weight room at lunch every day, yoga and/or runs in the evening.
And I've been pretty good about walking between camp and the office - it's 1 km each way, so I can theoretically walk it 4 times/day (to work in the a.m., both ways at lunch, and back in the evening). But over the winter I've been quite slack, and often only walked 2ce/day. This week I walked 3 or 4 times every day.
Amazing how many excuses I can make, though, especially in winter. "I have wet hair and it's cold!" when actually, I have very warm hoods and the wet hair would not be a problem. "Oh dear, I didn't pay attention to the time and if I walk now I'll be late". "WHoops! I'm so late going for lunch that if I walk, they'll have already stopped serving by the time I get there!"

Yesterday an hour and half hike, a kilometre in the pool and a fairly intense yoga class. I was pooped by the time bed time came!

After a 2.5 week holiday I got back to the gym this week. Blergh.
While away, we hiked quite a lot (5 different days, with 2 of those days including lots of uphill!) plus one nice bike ride with uphill all the way back. While camping at the drop zone I went for a run 4 mornings out of 7 (and did absolutely no exercise the other 3 days!).
Also did a short run last night here at work, and plan a longer one tonight.

I was good all week at work - went running 4 times, went to the gym every day at lunch, and walked between camp and office whenever it wasn't pouring rain (which was a little over half the time).
This week I am expecting to be spending tons of time with my best friend and her kids, and worrying too much about fitness, but I should still be able to fit in some runs.

was back in the lake yesterday - kicking and arming - but while the lake temp is still ok... it's really getting fall-ish ( autumnal ) and not such fun getting out - esp when the wind is going like yesterday. I fear the exercise can't go much longer - and then I have to wait until Florida. damn

I've gone for a run the past 3 evenings in a row. I've also been going to the gym at lunch every day (just for 10-20 minutes), and walking the 1 km trail between camp and office 4x/day.
Need to make up for last week when I ate more than usual, including junk food, and did no exercise whatsoever...

I haven't visited this thread in a while as I've not been very active really. Most days I do some stretches/exercises I have from the physio I've started seeing but that's about it. Today I started swimming laps but soon realised that the momentum of swimming against the water was pulling my bikini top down and I was exposing myself!! So I had to stop. I just hope nobody noticed when I stood up in the pool as it took me a moment to realise! Definitely need a smaller size now that I'm done with breastfeeding.

I got lazy/busy and haven't run since Saturday, but I got to the gym every day, and also kept up the walking until last night, when it was raining when I left the office. So I had to drive, and then I had to take the truck back to the office this morning, so I missed 2 chances to walk.

I don't want to shame myself so I don't look at this thread. However today I decided to have a peep. You are all so energetic.
We both do about 10 minutes stretching exercises in the morning. Then we do a 45 minute walk round town or out to the golf course or the football pitch picking up litter. In the afternoon we do a shorter walk.
Mrs Faz is away at present so today was different. I drove to a local stables and shovelled manure into about 10 sacks, loaded them in the car, drove to the allotment and emptied the sacks on my patch. I'll dig it all in next month. This all took over an hour. I share my area with a neighbour but he is giving up some of his land to me. So this afternoon I'll do another manure run.
Does this all add up?

BAz, that sounds like quite a lot of exercise!
I finally went for a run today, but it didn't go well. I just didn't have any energy at all, and I walked a lot of the time. It was extremely slow.
I haven't figured out if it's because I ate too little or too much, too long before or not long enough. or if I just can't run in the afternoon, for some reason. I ran 3 times at work last week, all after 7:30 p.m., and they all felt fine/good. So I don't know why, after a 4 day rest, it felt so awful.

I also thought that Baz did a lot of exercise. Hoping he won't be sore after that.
My "exercise" was to stand all day in full closed shoes and socks. my feet didn't enjoy the experience.

Well, after that terrible, horrible run on Thursday, I had a better one yesterday, and MUCH better one today.
Also, went for a walk a couple days ago, looking for migratory birds. And a nice bike ride yesterday.
