Watching a good old-fashioned murder. They're in Wales. I do like hearing the Welsh speaking, they say their sentences back to front and the lilting accent is so restful.

went to see the play " Murder for Two" -- brilliant !! 2 actors do the whole thing - detective and all the suspects AND do all the music on a piano. Just an amazing tour de force = and hilarious !

Attended my first music festival this weekend .. very chill, low key. Didn’t stay long into the night when the best acts were but enjoyed the experience.

I once ate a French dessert and drank a Viennese coffee served by a Swiss in a Swiss Cafe in the South Island of New Zealand in 2007.
How's that for the United Nations?

Tzarine, you have there vive la France!, Merrie Olde England and the American colonies! Are we including the Mandarin duck at Central Park? 'Cos if we are, you can add East Asia to the mix.

I have immediate connections or ancestry to England, France, Greece, Lebanon, Slovenia, Croatia, Colombia, Spain and Germany. When my children marry it could get more complicated. We'll see.
Hang on, just remembered there is Goanese as well.

Sense and Sensibility was wonderful ! the director had adapted it from the book - limited cast - playing multiple roles ( except for Elinor and Marianne ) and moving the props and actually stepping out and explaining what had happened during the cuts ( which were v necessary - as it took from 7:30=11 with one intermission) but every word spoken was straight from the book... all in all just wonderful ( even tho I still can only see Alan Rickman as Col Brandon !)

We had the Last Night of the Proms on the radio while we were eating dinner. It reminded me of a German neighbour I had in France, a real Anglophile, and going to dinner with him and he had the Proms on the radio.
