This odd thing happened 2 days ago but I was just seeing if it had a happy outcome. Yes.
Mrs Faz received an email saying: Your parcel has been delivered! Yes, it even had the "!". We hadn't heard the doorbell but she rushed to the door and nothing had been left outside (a stupid development here where they leave the parcel on your doorstep, ring the bell and go off to their next delivery). The parcel was wall calendars from Vistaprint. She telephoned Vistaprint immediately. Aftera lot of toing and froing it turned out that what they meant was they had received our order from the printing company in the Netherlands. She tried to make the man she spoke to at Vistaprint in the UK understand that their having received our calendars from the Netherlands was not the same as the calendars being delivered to us. I don't think he understood. Anyhow they have arrived.

I have seen my ass in the mirror, looking directly into my eyes, it felt so odd after all years seeing him again. I needed to say sorry without any single thought on my mind.

I find it odd that Amazon has sent me an email. It says that Budapest Hand (which I wrote) has just been published.

Britain has 2 aircraft carriers. One of them - HMS Prince of Wales - has been doing manouevres with the Americans. The Yanks have brought aboard the British ship a golden labrador named Ike. Ike has his own rank: Lieutenant Commander.
That reminds me of the time when I had the Royal Navy as a client (I was a copywriter). I went for a short sea trial on a frigate. Before I went on board I had to sign the Official Secrets Act (so I won't tell you how the ordinary sailors carried on working even when they were seasick and vomiting). Also there was a discussion about what rank I should temporarily be given. Captain it was decided. This meant theoretically I outranked the senior officer in command of the ship. I should have shouted out the order, "Splice the mainbrace!" Those seasick matelots would have cheered me as they were given a tot of rum.

We have no snow on the ground - unusual for late November - and up until today it was warmer than usual, too. Many people have taken advantage of this to put up their Christmas decorations. The odd part is seeing santa, snowmen, reindeer, and candy canes sitting on the brown grass everywhere.

This is the beginning of an email I have received from The Times:
Today in Qatar I did xxxxhxhxh xhxxhxh xjchxjkvch kxjhcvxn xcjbxvcjkbx bcxk cvbxvcjkhx xouicvbhodfg vhbdfj idfjg xi a;lka ierngehnl sdpifnspknf xnfgnjd kfng afnied nhjfwen sngs dnsdkjfng ijsfdgk xIn two scoreless cup finals against Chelsea, Liverpool had a high number of relatively low-quality shots, but couldn’t break through. In Paris, they seemed to come out of the blocks with a determination
Why have I been sent this? What does it mean? Should I alert the spies?

I bring you news from the world of professional wrestling: CM Punk has made a shock return. This is world shattering news and I have seen a video of celebrating fans. He left the grapple world of WWE and now he has come back. Why did he leave in the first place?
frustrations over creative storylines
I sympathise with CM Punk. In my own small way I have trouble with storylines until my publisher puts a half nelson on me.

I went across the road to the Health Food Shop to buy eggs. Waiting my turn to pay I was scanning the shelves and came across phials of Horny Goat Weed. When my turn came I asked the woman who owns the shop: "What's this?" She gave me a smile and said: "It does just what it says on the label."
Hmm. I don't know any lady goats.

This quote is from the woman who wrote (or maybe acted in) Sex and the City:
Life isn’t like an arrow going in one direction — it’s more like a hula hoop.’
Anyone help me with what it means?

The other evening I walked past a house that had 4 rabbits on the front lawn at 11:30 p.m. I've never seen more than 2 rabbits together in this town. 4 was very odd.

Ummm, that we end up repeating ourselves sometimes? That we often end up going in circles, and ending up back where we started?

From the Mail online:
MailOnline tastes roasted grey squirrel - as experts call for Britons to eat the meat to save the planet
So, if Mrs Faz and I eat the grey squirrel in our garden can we all stop worrying about global warming? Am I missing something?

Am I seeing double?
I read a new post on the "made me laugh" thread, and then another new post on the "made me laugh" thread but they were on different threads.
I didn't know that could happen.
I may have to go back to bed until normal vision is restored.
