I wonder if Netsie has gone to the toilet yet. I worry that I am wondering that. I wonder why I am wondering about Netsie. I worry that this is unhealthy. I wonder how I can stop worrying. I worry that I am going nuts. I wonder if people have noticed that I am nuts but are too polite to say so. That is enough wondering but I worry about why I can't stop. ... There. I have stopped wondering. I wonder why. Damn. I have started again. That is a worry.

If I had a dollar for every time I heard that, I’d be a millionaire by now. You win some you lose some. What was that saying about pigs before swine? I can’t remember. Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou, Romeo? Half a league, half a league onward into the valley of Death rode the six hundred. A horse! A horse! Ny Kingdom for a horse! Beware the Ides of March.

It's driving me nuts - I can't find the nice, enamelled red poppy pin that a friend sent from England... no one here "get's it" , as it's been turned into Veteran's Day - but still, I wanna find it and wear it !

Voy, do they still sell poppies over in America? Mum told me November 11 used to be called Armistice Day. After WWII, United Kingdom's proposal that Armistice Day be renamed Remembrance Day to commemorate those who were killed in both World Wars was agreed upon.

Chipping Sodbury commemorated it on Sunday 12th. The war memorial is just 100 metres from Faz Cottage so we didn't leave until the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. It was raining so we were sheltering under umbellas. So was every one else. We couldn't see the war memorial. The female vicar was leading the ceremony and we could hear nothing eiher.

I haven't seen anyone selling poppies in ages, but when you would ask them why, they never knew.

This morning the prime minister said that the government has halved the rate of inflation. Does this mean that previously the government had doubled the rate of inflation?

The world's oldest dog is 24. Its owners think so anyway. They picked it up at a motorway service station on NY day 24 years ago.

I've been asked if I would like some things that belonged to my grandparents and it breaks my heart to say no. It makes me feel like I don't care but the truth is that I care deeply. It just isn't items I would value (e.g. set of silvery cutlery).
