Noted. Other than that, is our hair similar in texture/thickness/waviness? Surely you do remember each of our hairs in extreme detail.

Hers is straighter. Maybe not as thick, but I'm not sure.

Hello nerdlings. Things continue busy and kind of uneventful here, so not too much to report. For Independence Day we walked to the downtown and watched a nice fireworks display. And I'm reading a new book about pterosaurs (http://www.markwitton.com/#/pup-pterosaurs/4552905946) which has some neat illustrations.

*I* certainly can't comment on dragon's hair. When I said that a particular hairstyle looked like mine, she said the person looked crazy. Hmph.

I just learned that potato beetles make a really gooey, bright red sauce when you squish a whole lot of them.
Ick.

are these the ones they use for natural food colouring, scrubb?

I don't think so, annie. I've heard the name of the beetle they use for that, and even though I can't remember it now, it's not "larvae of the colorado potato bug".

That would be Cochineal.

Cochineal is a scale insect (Hemiptera) and is more closely related to aphids than it is to beetles (Coleoptera) including the Colorado potato beetle.
