i've got reams of sunshine to spare.
this afternoon after giving a standardized writing test all day, i have to go to a staff development workshop called "everything you need to know about global warming." i think it takes a lot of...moxie to call your workshop that. if i was giving it, it would be called something like, "some stuff that might possibly help you to know about global warming...but probably not."

"everything you need to know about global warming." ;D I have read some daft titles but that ranks: I don't suppose perchance it was irony and you got a presentation on complexity in climate science? I expect not.

Oh! thought you were in NYC! lol sorry. Hope you had a good time there and that mini dragoncito could fly in his PJs everything you NEED to know.. need for what? for avoiding it? for solving the problem? for living in the dark? LOL such an arrogant title!

so actually the presentation was really good. depressing, but good. solid science, very depressing, some hope. that's my summary.
and yes, itsas, dragoncitito was SO HAPPY to fly in his PJs!

I work in PJs many mornings.
We had some sun today.
I took my first walk of the week this afternoon. It's also the first walk where I haven't worn a jacket or a sweater. I think spring has finally arrived.

Poor stomach...I hope they fix it soon!

it's pretty common here, as far as i can tell, by you know, asking people. i guess adobe houses absorb heat during the day and then release it in the middle of the night. that's my scientific explanation anyway.
thanks for your sympathy. i'm going to the stomach doctor tomorrow.

Good luck at the tummy doctor, tiny!

That's right, depending on the thickness it comes through around six or more hours later. This is said to be excellent in places such as the high desert with blistering days and cold nights. I really only know about thick ~80cm solid rubble and earth walls but it amounts to the same thing. It sounds like you don't get those cool clear sky nights. Hoping the good doctor is a big help to you.
