Wishing all Potters and those pottering about, a very Happy Easter and if you have or take part in an Easter Egg Hunt, I do hope you find the most! Do you have any special food on Easter Sunday where you are? Here, it’s a roast dinner served at lunch time. Although the mantle has now been handed over to the younger generation, it is good Tao be together as a family.
I am not sure if I have this right, but let’s see…

And a Happy Easter to all ! we always used to have roast lamb - but family Easter is long gone... I personally have some extra nice chocolate - which means in a bar and not formed into a rabbit!

We had roast lamb shoulder Voy. Haven’t had lamb in ages. It was good. Especially when someone else does the cooking!
Tzarine, we also had scalloped potatoes which went down well.

Lamb is also traditional here at Easter, but my mom does not like it.
She happily receives a “Colomba di pasqua” - traditional Italian panettone in the shape of a dove.
Today, we went to mass. Mass lasted much longer as they organized for three people to be baptized. And afterwards, we had eggs amongst other foods.

we bought a colomba, but while at first both kids liked it, after a while i was the only one eating it and it was a bit much for me - the bakery near where we stayed unfortunately only sells quite big ones, and after a while i just finished it so i won't waste it, as it wasn't cheap. if we go there again next year, i'll have to find out if i can get a smaller one ...

Annie, after googling “Colomba di pasqua”, I wish I had thought to do so earlier. It looks delicious but I am guessing it will no longer be available as Easter is over and gone. I know what I shall be looking for next Easter!

Netsie, colomba di pasqua is actually a panettone in the shape of a dove. So you should be able to find panettone for chrimbo at the latest, but I am not sure if it is sold at any other time of the year.
