I was alright until I ate the biscuits, now my stomach feels like the Atlantic Ocean on a bad day. There was a packet of biscuits, ten in the pack, McVities Jaffa Cakes. I ate all ten. Now I feel as sick as a dog. For those who don’t know, these “cakes” are a cross between a cake and a biscuit, covered in chocolate with orange gel like stuff in the middle. Sort of like ten orange hats covered with chocolate.

you ate too many of them, netsie... maybe your blood sugar levels are really high as well. I would recommend hydrating with something that has absolutely no sugar whatsoever.

I hope you're feeling better now, Netsie.
I was really unwell this morning. Woke at 2.45am from the pain of a migraine. When I got up in the morning for work I was nautilus, had an upset stomach and bad head pain still. I couldn't eat anything for breakfast due to the Nausia. It is now after 7pm and I am feeling much better (not 100% but can function), though I am extremely tired.

I think you’re ever so brave Lumi, Singers is always hot and a migraine is horrible even in cool weather. What medication do you take and does it work? I do hope you didn’t have to go to school today.

I think you’re ever so brave Lumi, Singers is always hot and a migraine is horrible even in cool weather. What medication do you take and does it work? I do hope you didn’t have to go to school today. I did indeed go to school today. We are expected to call in sick at the latest by 6.30am and I usually take a tablet then and am hopefully I will feel better. And as hard as it is to be so u well at work, we are still expected to work to some extent when off sick and the lessons I set usually don't get done or are done incorrectly so I end up having to reteach it all anyway. I have many different tablet options to take that have been prescribed to me by neurologists and GPs at various times but I haven't found anything that consistently works. I therefore generally just take paracetamol which sometimes takes the edge off and brings the pain back to a level where I can at least function somewhat. I worry about the side effects from some of the more serious drugs I have been prescribed. I also use an essential oil mix which sometimes helps. The one I found always helped me sleep when the pain was so bad I couldn't sleep got discontinued and I haven't found something as effective as that one yet.

I'm way better today, thanks. Typically, the day after I recover from a migraine a feel super great. It can be a bit of a europhroic feeling, I am guessing because the contrast to how bad I was feeling to being normal again is so great.
