I just learned about an earthquake that killed many many people in Morocco.

I've heard via a third party that one is OK. Nothing from the others who live and work in the area heavily affected, but as they are all in either law enforcement or medicine if they survived unscathed they will be doing their best for others. Despite being so poor, that part of the Atlas mountains are stunningly beautiful and I have some fabulous memories of the area.
