We've shopped at Waitrose. Then I have sowed beetroot seeds. Eccentrically we sow beet seeds in little pots. If we sow them direct into the allotment something eats the very small seedlings.

got up, got mom's paper, breakfast, stained the last two chairs that needed that, then shower, then lunch with mom and brother, followed by games on the balcony with mom. Now, i'm faffing. need to get my flat ready, need to get some laundry done, need to prep stuff for Tuesday and for Friday.

celebrating with all the potters Rikita's mother's return home.
I did a quick translation, then printed documents for my niece, then laundry, then it was time for lunch with mom.
This afternoon, after doing the washing up, I brought the full binbag to the "Molok", got the outside ready for the next bout of bad weather, and now I'm sorting a few things in order for tomorrow to go smoothly.

Quietly frothing at the mouth. I rang a certain number, I was put on hold, I am aurally assaulted by boring music and a boring message saying, “Thanks for holding, we will be with you shortly”. After eight point five two minutes I spat the dummy. I hung up.

but when they pick good music it's wrecked by the quality of the recording...why don't they just bite the bullet and hire a decent number of people.

Today I shoveled first thing, as the blowing snow from yesterday has finally ended. Then we visited my mother in law, and played crocanole with her.
Stopped to get passport photos taken and the way home, and did a big grocery shop.
Then over to the passport office, got our applications submitted.
Checked work emails and replied. About to do 10 or 15 minutes of work now, then I'll be done for today. Yay!

Tonight we'll be staying at Littlehampton on the English south coast (Mrs Faz was surprised when I reminded her it was our wedding anniversary). Then it is on to Brighton to stay a couple of nights with my daughter. She relies on us coming twice a year to do her garden. She is hopeless at gardening. Everything either grows rampantly and is never pruned, or it dies.

I've been avoiding going for a run, most of today. For no reason - it's sunny and will be a nice run.
Also planning what to do with an eggplant and some miso, for supper. With a big "greek" salad on the side, I think. It won't be truly a Greek Salad, as I'll use spinach and romaine as a base, but I'll put in chunks of tomatoes, olives, feta, yellow pepper, and I think also avocado, as we bought 3 that are all ripe.
Will likely get together with friends this evening, too, after dinner.
Best get out for that run.

Lunch with cousins who also fall into the friends category. Think I'll have a slice of toast for tea and call the day a success.

nets i hate hold music why? just why? use there is so much good music in the universe, but they torment w us crap Good Music, rarely comes without considerable costs. Specific deals may be required to use music for commercial purposes, also publishing rights, mechanical copyright payments. So you tend to get, music from the classical era, specially recorded by session musicians. Well that is how I remember things working. BTB Microsoft paid about US$3 million to use "Start Me Up" by The Rolling Stones in their Windows 95 marketing campaign.
