I wonder how it went. Were both turkeys cooked? Did he find brussels sprouts? Did his daughter's dress clash with his wife's?

Well, I've just sat down.
The daughter is just finishing off putting the pots away Mrs M has washed.
The menu was - two turkeys, roast potatoes, peas, sauted carrots, sauted zucchini, Yorkshire puddings, lashing of gravy. Brussel sprouts are forbidden in this household.
Desert was apple crumble with lashings of custard.
The news was the turkeys were really good. I looked at them at the time one would have been done and then decided to leave them in for another 20 mins or so and they both turned out about perfect.
The daughter wore a blouse and shorts, because it is actually a hot day today, close on 30 degrees Celsius, and they didn't clash as she has already spoken to Mrs M about what she was going to wear.
There were eight for dinner and we just had a few peas left.

I would have gobbled everything. Lucky people. Merry Christmas. I had a Greek feast I planned to do then a certain lovely person is coming but not as an adventurous eater so sat up at 3am sorting it all out. Think I'm Ok now  |

I don't understand - why wonder how Mark's Christmas dinner was when it isn't Christmas until Monday. Today is Friday, so that means Christmas is in three days time.
