we have not figured out how to set the forum so it always jumps on the last post you've read once you open a thread. Hopefully we'll find out soon.

Yes, please bear with us as we figure our way around, we are 2 blind mice just feeling our way in the dark. I think it takes a lot to actually delete a forum, so hopefully neither of us deletes it by mistake :-P

As long as you don't accidentally erase any of us, I'm happy...
Joking aside, take your time. No one expects a perfect forum out of the blue.

HT, I was actually just about to start making endless suggestions about how the site should be set up, then threaten to leave if I don't get it my way! You know how I can be sometimes.

LOL Iain, just you try and bully us into doing what you want, the Dynamic Duo will soon put you on the straight and narrow :-P
Seriously, we are open to suggestions, cannot promise that we will know how to implement them, but if we think it is viable we will try to find out.

A pot stirrer is a person who stands over the pot and keeps stirring so that the food that is in the pot does not burn.

Wikki makes a good point, I don't think we will be meddling too much with the settings etc. We really do not want to end up with a mess on our hands!

We don't get all demanding until after the second week. Then, watch out. Iain will be off his diet, I'll be off my meds, Grecian will be off booze, and all hell will break loose.
Cancel that.

It is better if it jumps to the last post, it is the way it should be.
Anyway, ONCE UPON A TIME, I used to run TTR with Sky (until I went mental one day and erased my account...), and the thing is that to add new features you have to add html in different parts of the forum, but it is not SO easy, though not TOO HARD either. Anyway, I used to do that stuff. But don't worry.
Most html basics you can find in proboards.com.
But in the end, it is all adding new stuff that is not REALLY needed, we were just trying to add features, improve stuff, but the basic thing works well in my opinion.
And I used to do the skins. Oh and that mental guy who was "The Hot Seat" and managed that forum, ha! That was me acting as a man, haha!! That was a pain in the ass, arraging the dates with you guys to be on the seat and moderating the questions which were too hot sometimes, that was funny!!
I also played some other hidden roles in there, like the news person, etc.. Until I went nuts one night...

Gobsie - that's what I mean... it's so great to see you guys growing. and here's me hoping you don't go adding "features" - it's like most computer stuff - it's guys, with their toys, making stuff needlessly complex just because they CAN, not because anyone needs that shit.

I would like to be able to set it so it scrolls to where the newest answer is. Otherwise I quite like it the way it is, just simple.

What HT said. I think KISS is our motto, but would like to be able to make it open on the newest answer in a thread.
Oh, and do you miss the board links at the top? I would like those, but can't figure out how to put them up either.
