6:30 p.m. -23C Saskatoon.
I am sick of the cold. And it's been grey for a few days now, too. Not that -23 is all that cold, but I couldn't be bothered to set foot outside today.

Sigh. 12:30 p.m. -23C with a wind that makes it feel like -32C Saskatoon
At least it's bright and sunny - but I just can't feel motivated to go out there! I haven't been out the door for 44 hours. Wait, no, I walked about 15 steps from the back door to see what my cat was looking at.

He was staring at the crack in the garage step where a mouse stores some of his food. If it wasn't so cold he'd sit there for hours staring and waiting for the mouse to appear. In fact, he gets so obsessed that he doesn't come inside even when he's getting really cold - we have to go pick him up and bring him in. THen he sits in front of the hot air register.

Cats' brains are something I would love to be able to read.. they are SO ironically self centred and smart and smug! They think one is their pet BA 10:54am 25C and sunny, with a light breeze coming through.

Greetings from sunny San Francisco, Califreezingfornia. 11:45 PM and I've just covered the plants with sheets and dirty clothes from the hamper for the fourth night in a row. Tonight should see 25F/3.8C temps. I'm feeling sorry for the poor souls who are sleeping on the streets and in the hills. There are many of them here because of the usually moderate climate.

at 15h30 this afternoon in South West England, the sun was shining, the temperature was 7C (although windchill factor made it feel much colder). It was dry, which made a change from too many grey and wet days.

for those of you that are too warm, you may spend a little time loooking at a fb page called "Winter" it has nice pics of snowy areas. and at the moment "I love Switzerland" also shares many snowy pics for their "likers"' amusement.
