It was 25 here today. Rain is forecast for tomorrow and Saturday. Over the past four months rain has frequently been forecast but never come. The garden is very dry.

it was 15 here and the wind picked up this afternoon - don't get wind chill factor on weather reports. Bath water wasn't quite hot enough so it wasn't the luxurious heat seeking experience I'd hoped for. Never mind at least my feet feel warmer

It's miserable to have cold feet. I intend to buy a pair of Ugg boots, lined with sheepskin, for this winter. I'll wear them every day.

But Happy - I do wear them inside as slippers! Actually they're not Uggs. They are imitation Uggs made by Marks and Spencer. They are beige lined with imitation sheepwool and they only cost £15..... I'll take a picture of them tomorrow some of this season's new Uggs are very cool, believe it or not!

I always have this picture in my head, of a fat, ugly, drunk guy in an australian supermarket, wearing very short shorts and a singlet, and UGG's... it was about 38° Since then that's what I associate Uggs with... Eeeeek ! ;D

It's the same where I live. Chavs wearing 'the look' everywhere but I doubt they're genuine UGGS....(so expensive!)...

It's not mine - it belongs to friends ( who are in their 80s ) who are leaving for points South tomorrow, but it is the one they let me use all June and most of July until they got here..- and wonderful friends have a house next door - with them I went on a long and lovely boat ride this afternoon, before going with Ginny to apple pick - before I fell over and sprained my ankle. urgh.
