I don't know but perhaps it's because they're high in magnesium? Unfortunately unless you buy the ones from Pakistan, they're full of deadly preservative....ha ha.... you must find the ones from HUNZA....they are uncontaminated...

Thank you writeon, I am not sure where I can get pakistani apricots but will try. My pilates teacher is a bloody slave driver, he makes it harder for us everytime. I am rathe sore today. Hmpf.
But I know it's good for me.

But Happy - all you need to do is take a supplement of Magnesium....I'll look up the type of Mg that is best absorbed.
Other than that, there's a supplement called Protenzyme that, if taken in between meals on an empty stomach, negates all such pains and aches from exercise. It's widely taken in Germany. Look it up.
Protenzyme is a systemic digestive enzyme product. If it's taken with food it'll help digest the food in your stomach but it's meant to be taken on an empty stomach. It will then dissolve the lactic acid that causes your aches! A bit of chemistry there!

The most easily absorbed magnesium (in capsule form) is Magnesium Chloride, preferably teamed with Fumaric Acid....
Try to get Bio-Magnesium from Biocare.

I think that that sulphur is sprayed on them as a preservative. I know it's not good. Best to have the Hunza valley apricots. Anyway they are full of sugar.
