I have been up for a couple of hours, can’t sleep to to breathing problems. It is now 5:27am in the morning. I have ice cream in the freezer - a delicious strawberry and a delightful mint. Should I give in and have a bowl of the stuff or should I resist temptation?

I am sure you can resist everything except temptation

No. Too early for all that sugar. The thought of ice cream at that time of day gives me the shudders.

Both good points. Thanks a mil!
Temptation lost and prudence won. Is prudence the opposite of temptation? So glad I won that one. Now, it’s twenty to twelve in the morning, the word Icecream flashed through my mind, I ignored it and now cannot be bothered getting up. There’s one good thing for laziness!

Pleased you resisted. Much better to have sugar free protein or an early breakfast. By the way that's the time I'm getting up to go to work.

And my porridge would be cooking or cooked by then. Not sweet, no sugar, no milk, no honey.
Pass the salt!

my alarm is set to 5:45. even currently, although momentarily I often turn around and sleep some more.
So 5h 30 would also be breakfast.
