Recently, I was looking for a recipe online for a friend. Couldn't find it, however I found a recipe that struck me as strange/dated. It was a recipe that called for a tin of tuna to be cooked (with spices, as a curry).
Do you ever eat tinned tuna and if so, do you ever cook it?
Whether you cook it or not, what is your favourite way of eating tinned tuna?

I sometimes heat it up with just cooked pasta and pesto for a quick main.

I'm with Tzarine on her ways of eating tuna. Mrs Faz eats canned tuna with mayo for lunch regularly. If guests are popping in for a summer lunch I often make salade nicoise. Guests seem impressed as if it has been a tremendous labour (which of course it isn't - it just looks attractive).
When we lived in France and had roast veal (frowned on in England) I would make vitello tonnato the next day.

I eat tinned runa on sandwiches and straight from the tin if flavoured. It's quite common in Australia to have a small can of tinned tuna for an easy lunch, sometimes on crackers.
I also put tinned tuna in a simple pasta. Sounds odd to me to put it into a curry but not totally bizarre. Fresh fish is not always cheap or easy to source and u less the meal is a piece of fish, I don't think it has to be a fresh fillet.

Sorry, I wouldn't eat anything more sentient than a politician.
So, in some cases even yoghurt is a cause for concern.

Don't be sorry, slow. I have deep respect for vegetarians/vegans and am trying to eat mostly plant-based food.

I hate the smell although I used to make make a fish pie in white sauce years ago. Nz also has tuna in small pull off top containers with more added flavors than I can deal with.

Like Lumi, I like a tuna sandwich. Sometimes I add very finely sliced/shredded lettuce (iceberg) and occasionally a slice of tasty cheese. I sometimes eat it straight from the tin. Tuna on hot buttered toast is really delicious. I only buy smoked tuna.
I found a pasta recipe recipe on the back of a packet of pasta called tuna something in which the tuna was cooked with other stuff then spread over cooked pasta. Short pasta.

I enjoy it with mayo and pickles in a sandwich. And salad nicoise is nice.
I have had it on pasta and thought it was ok, but generally don't use it that way. Hard to imagine it in a curry!
