I was so impressed with her and Stan Webb, I bought Chicken Shack's first album.
Prior to moving on, she was that rare thing, a top notch British female blues artist.

I was also considered perfect. Our music teacher Sister Mary Geraldine told me “Netsuke, you’re a perfect pest with a capital P!” She never raised her voice but ooh… she knew how to cut you down to size. I always forgot something, if it wasn’t a pencil, it was my music theory book - that was the unforgivable! This was Music Theory class which was held on Saturdays in the music room at school.

and then she went and sang with Stevie and the others. I think the story goes that she was attracted many months earlier by Fleetwood Mac's founder, the charismatic, genius, that was Peter Green, and who wouldn't be. Peter had it all, brilliant blues musician, composer, and downright sexy. FM like Pink Floyd were bands that became hugely successful after their leading light went out, and she stayed on and became famous for it. England produced many great blues artists, but there rarely paid well, here is another and a favourite of mine since the mid 60s:
