I'll soon have a short holiday in Scotland, mainly to visit a friend for her birthday party.
If I have time, I intend to try haggis and other specialties.
(yes, I'll purchase whisky for my parents, and I already know what to buy, thank you)
Any recommendations?

Deep fried Mars Bars? Back in the day (1970s) when I visited, they used their fryer like we might use a microwave Anyone for a Deep fried Pork Pie?

Back in the days when I first visited, I had caught rubella and had no appetite... I figure that's how I survived...

I hope you drink Irn Bru because I haven't. It doesn't seem to be available outside Scotland so maybe it is horrible.

It was available in Devon. Might have tried it. Don’t remember. It is a soft drink after all.
