We cannot go to Sicily in January (sigh) so I have just spent the morning cancelling flights and accommodation. It took time but was hassle-free. Airbnb refunded our deposit in full (previously they have kept hold of their "service" fee). EasyJet has refunded our flights in full and added £10. We opted for a voucher and will try to go to Greece next June.
Now to book a new destination - the Canaries. It is part of Spain but also not part of Spain. The British Foreign Office has no objection to our going (so our travel insurance is still valid). Covid infections are low and the Canaries government intends to keep them that way. We'll have a Covid test 48 hours before we fly.
