I'm not much of a puzzle person, except were the puzzle is "How does this work?" or similar.
I had a bit of a "couldn't see the wood for the trees" experience. I was so engrossed with the pieces that I didn't notice what the picture was about until it was only a dozen or so pieces from complete. Which is surprising for such an impressive bunch.
What is a good time for a puzzle of this complexity (108 pieces)? He asks sheepishly.

I did a 24 pieces last night in 3 minutes, but did a 250 pieces very detailed one this morning, both from the same site, and it took me an hour. the difficulty compared to other puzzles, is that I haven't found the trick to see the whole image once I've chosen which puzzle I want to make. Even trying to find the borders first doesn't always help.

if you are using "my" site - down in the left corner there is a box made of dots ( that sounds weird but you'll see what I mean) click that and the pic shows up. click it again and it goes away. Or you can "ghost" which I think is cheating !
Here's one where you might recognize the subject..https://www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=2efbfc890e9d

OK, it seems by that reckoning that I am a bit slow.

Just done one and love the idea. May I pass it on to a bedridden friend of mine who loved to travel before nasty things happened?
Maybe that can be our new "travel" thing until we've worked out how to cope with this current issue.
No problem with both sides of your brain working.
Not quite sure why I started with Mudman. Drove me nuts at one stage.

heheh -- you know my regular email - which was created when I needed the web-based account and any version of Perry perryp PPalmer etc etcwould have had a huge number added to it and I thought they were boring, and in frustration put in the lives in climax ( which I did ) and it took it ! - back in 1996 ! I very soon after added a 'screner' to use for amazon etc - now forgotten. Anyway, when I move to Maine people told me I should change the email to liveD in climax, but I thought that sounded like I was dead, so kept that one and added the Maineac one for the new screener ! so now at least one of the emails is still true !

Online jigsaw puzzles are not for me. I couldn't be bothered. I have to have the real thing.
