Finally getting 'round to grilling again on my grill, today. First time after the trial run.
And I am wondering if I should marinade the halloumi before grilling it. And what about the courgettes? do I marinade the courgette slices?

Don’t know about the cheese, but I marinate zucchini a mix of balsamic and olive oil (after scoring the veg on both sides a bit) for about 30 minutes.

do you slice the courgette, Sophie, or do you put it whole on the barbie? I had to google what a courgette is. That's a zucchini out here. Sliced, layer with onions and tomatoes in a saucepan, with bits of butter, salt and pepper between layers. Cook over low to medium heat until softened. Makes a good side dish. Serve with sauteed potatoes and chicken or meat of your choice.

Baby Marrows, despite their origin in Mesoamerica they never really caught on here.
They weren't eaten in our hamlet before our arrival despite their being commonly grown. If patience is a virtue then marrows are its reward.
ETA: That last remark is also my Thought For The Day.
