Recently we had a transgender vegan staying a couple of nights with us. We laid in soya milk and avocado oil spread for her. She had a bit of the soya milk on breakfast cereal (we chucked the rest as we don't like it). She didn't touch the avocado oil spread (more expensive than butter). This morning we sampled some on toast. It doesn't taste of avocado. It doesn't taste of butter. It is neutral - I would say tasteless. Any ideas for using it?

Maybe you can use it to cook?

Interesting idea. But I shan't be cooking with it for a few days as tomorrow morning we have a guest arriving from Switzerland (not Happy Traveller - she and Mr HT are coming in about a fortnight) and she is allergic to avocado.

How is HT, Baz? I don't recall seeing her around for some time, and one if my favourite people too.
Regarding avocado oil, cooking is my suggested use for it too. It is also excellent for the skin especially the face.

Avocado spread... sounds good to me! I'd just continue to use it as a spread on bread and spruce up the taste with salt and pepper or some cheese and tomato.
