Hello fellow gourmands, what did you indulge yourself with today? Some mouth-watering extravaganza delicioso of dessert? What did you eat (or imbibe) that you really shouldn't have?
Hmm? A chocolate eclair? A second helping of a decadent Français pastrie? Or something in the savoury department?
Moi? I had lashings of thick cream with low fat peach yoghurt. And, and.. two bought egg, mayo and lettuce sandwiches in white bread! I would prefer wholemeal khorasan. But there, we can't have everything.
You?

I had 2 fried eggs for lunch but I doubt that enters into the spirit of indulging myself. Not even when I say I also had tomatoes, wholemeal bread, cheddar cheese and fruit.

Nothing today, but with the "hole in the wall" fresh Italian ice-cream vendor around the corner from work already open, I'm going to make lots of excess over the warmer months.

being close to italy must pay off, annie... when we were in barcelona we tried an 'italian gelato' place around the corner from our hotel: bland with almost no flavor! wasn't really good enough to eat... at least it saved us a few calories

Croissants. They aren't nearly as decadent as a "real" croissant like you'd get in France, but they probably do have a fair amount of butter, so I didn't need 3 of them.

Alas, it doesn't have to be decadent to be a guilty pleasure. I had fish and chips and two potato cakes, no salt and loved it! I'm quite partial to fish n chips even though it is bad for me

Somehow, I don't think I'm going to get back to thin anytime soon. Is Italian ice-cream a thing in Israel?

I had mango and I think lemon or white coloured stuff. Delicious.

I am not suppose to, but I've had this cheese sitting in the fridge for a while, unopened. It is no longer unopened. I tasted it and ooh, it was to die for. The most gloriously creamy strong flavoured cheese. It was Westminster London Truckle, white cheddar aged over 12 months in black wax. Divine. I just KNOW I had more than I should.
