I hit like ^ - not that I like you trudging up and down -- but that it was getting everything into your new abode !

Walter the schnauzer has a good walk and run in the park with me. Tomorrow I’ll rake up the leaves and mulch the garden with them.

still cycling to and from work every day ... plan to continue to do so, until it either rains a lot or there is snow ...

cooking, polishing, general tidying... seems like I was on my feet all day ! but the sitting down with the friends at the dinner table was worth it all !

I just got home from 10 days of work, and I went to the gym (weight room) every day. Only for 15 minutes, but hey, I went.
Also went for runs 5 times (total of ~30 knm), and walked (or ran) between camp and the office almost every morning, noon, and night.

I loath exercise but I guess I am getting soft.
I am doing stuff to extend the range of movement in my neck and shoulders.
Effort without any obvious social purpose is not my forte. Perhaps I am becoming prematurely bourgeois.

I was given a chocolate cupcake today. I resisted until realizing I could give my jaw a good workout. Feel fabulous!

I am considering a New Year resolution to exercise (or at least, be active) every day. I am pretty good at work, but can be a total sloth at home.
Jan 1 was a total wash as I did nothing at all, all day. But since then I've been good:
Jan 2 - went for a 45 minute run Jan 3 - went for a walk for about an hour Jan 4 - did my first "park run" - a timed 5 km run

as usual, climbing, but today i somehow was a bit weak. tried the speed climbing route again, and usually i get to the top (though very slowly and slipping off a couple of times) - today i gave up after a while ...

I am finally back in the pool almost every day - and up to 800 kicks/500 arms ( while sitting on a noodle) making my way back to 1000/800.

Scrubb, you have hills?

|
Post by Scrubb on Jan 6, 2020 8:10:39 GMT 2
Ha ha! Well, it's a man-made one... Probably wouldn't qualify as a hill where you live! It's been probably 15 years since I last tobogganed. Actually, it was a crazy carpet. And it was fun! But I remember that when I went last time, I was really, really sore the next day. Am hoping that's not the case this time!

Walking in tempo about an hour. May ass, belly and breasts demand more activity, otherwise they seem to go wild. Scary.

Never ? That sounds a bit skeptical to me...
My exercise of the day was learning some German. Got me tired to sleep an hour in the afternoon.
