I keep changing my mind. One minute I am planning on Japan, then Taiwan, the Tahiti and a minute ago Thailand. I want somewhere with gorgeous water and great food. I guess Japan is not in the running maybe then. Oh and Cook Islands was in but not sure I'm going to like the food enough there unless I live on coconuts and fish. Where would you go if you are a food lover and water pristine safe(ish) water to swim in? We don't swim here other than in our pool, crocs and stingers don't make it tempting.
Oh and this is for early September next year. Good weather is a must.

Jeff how did I know you'd say that? ;P
Baz, we were only in Europe a couple of years ago. I was thinking of closer to home.

Jeff how did I know you'd say that? ;P because netanya is a seaside resort... in september the weather will be perfect: sunny and the sea temperature will be about 30C! Yep, bathtub warm... and if you want to go snorkeling there is eilat with lots of coral reefs and there are some waist deep! yep, people are requested not to feed the fish white bread because it causes malnutrition... and for uniqueness there's the Dead Sea to float sitting up and Jerusalem...

Have you considered Vanuatu. French food. Good beaches etc. I enjoy the Cooks but haven't been there for a few years so the good restaurants may have all disappeared as they tend to be "in for a season then out again type places"

Jeff if we don't do an overseas trip next September maybe we could do a trip to visit your beach and Greece It does all sound lovely!
Tahiti is tempting but very expensive. Been to Vanuatu and thought of Cook islands but South pacific food is average I think (sorry for being fussy)I'd still go though and eat lots of fish, fruit and coconuts. Hawaii doesn't interest me food wise. I was thinking of Taiwan but haven't checked out beaches etc. The food is amazing there I hear.

I went swimming at a beautiful beach in Japan, one of the tiny islands in the sea of Japan. I would love to go back and find more peaceful places like that.
So don't rule Japan out!

Kate that sounds amazing. I just keep thinking of water like I see in the photos of Tahiti. Crystal clear and no waves as you have the reef. Gosh Tahiti is expensive though especially when you want an over the water bungalow! darn it. I may be in for an operation so might be going no where. Find out this week.

I'll be fine. Yes worrying Jeff. I'm tough though right? Anyway I'm still thinking AirBNB's in Tahiti or Greek Islands and a visit to Jeffy but won't be till 2020. Hospital bills will cost a bit even with our health funds crappy amount they'll pay.

Too much to see and do don't we my friend?! Still young(ish) we are and there is nothing better to have than dreams that you make come true.. just takes time and dollars! If you don't have hopes and dreams always then life is boring.
I wish Greece wasn't such a long way. Long flights are boring but last year flying to Europe we had that fancy bar/lounge where we could meet up with others during flight for drinks on Edihad A380 buisness class. That was interesting. They told us all to shush since it was when most were sleeping haha. Party poopers they were! We wouldn't fly with them again. One of the guys said for them to just pass us a bottle since they were so slack and we'd pour ourselves but nope.
