I am finally doing it.. going there.. it will be the end of January but I don’t care. I will probably go alone, but the place I booked has room for more so if a friend decides to join me, it will be fun as well. I must admit I am a little fearful as this will be my first plane trip since my DVT.

The doctors are confident that you'll be ok though, right? I know of someone who had DVT, and she takes a shot of heparin before flights - has your doctor discussed that possibility with you?

I will be going to see my doctor soon.. before, she mentioned that aspirin should be enough.. but I may ask yo go on xeralto for the flight day and day after.

oh, thought I had answered you! yes, make sure you travel safely and follow exercise, etc advice. you know, getting your calves to bunch and release regularly, as if you were walking... all the while being sat on the plane.
it will be so exciting!
