After an interval of some few years I tasted some UK bought Heinz Tomato Ketchup and found it to be unpleasantly sweet, not very nice at all, and definitely not the flavour I was expecting.
Now either it has changed or I have, I expect a bit of both.
For certain it does have a lot of sugar in it according to the nutritional breakdown.
On the ingredients list tomatoes came first but as they state that there is more than 100gms of them per 100grm of product that is hardly surprising. If it was given in terms of tomato concentrate I must wonder if that would still be the case.
Anything that you have noticed being now more or less to your taste?

I agree it must be a "bit of both", on the ketchup, slow.
for me, it is any chocolate/chocolate bar/sweet snack.
had a handful of a mix of seeds and dried fruit with my fresh fruit this morning, and thought the dried fruit were vile. horrid sugary things. Note that I used to dry my own in England.

When I was at university I used to drink beer (like all students). Now I find a pint is a bit of a struggle. I like the first half and then wonder what the point is. Cheap red wine on the other hand...

I used to LOVE mayonaise and couldn't get enough of it. I've somehow goe off it in the last several months. I am back to wanting to dd it on foods but the flavour does nothing for me now.

Chocolotae chip cookies, those American/Uk style ones that one can buy in the supermarkets. 20 years ago I loved & craved those things. Now I can't stand them anymore. Maybe I've overeaten on them for life.

i know this will set baz off, but in university i couldn't drink cheap red because it was too acidic and upset my stomach - and i still can't... however, good red is another story

my mom says she's gone off meat a little. I suspect it is a reaction to the heat we're currently experiencing. I'm sure it'll come back.

That's a shame, tfc. Hope it doesn't last long.
I loved canned ravioli when I was a teenager. Cold, straight from the can. Shudder.

haha! I grew up on those (warmed up and in a plate, though), scrubbles! really wouldn't want to eat them today, unless that was the only option.
also hoping tfc can taste properly again now.

we went through some phases of loving things that were new to us after the wall came down, like sweet danone yoghurt, the whole family seemed to think it was the best invention ever ... a few months later we were used to it and suddenly realized it tastes pretty boring ...
