and I just made my second batch of rhubarb chutney. The first one was okay, but this one is amazing. I never thought of using rhubarb in a chutney, but a few weeks back I went to a very high end wine tasting/pairing and had my first taste of rhubarb chutney there. My taste buds exploded.. maybe it was the pairing of the wine and a roast duck bit with crackling skin along with the rhubarb chutney, but I know I am now hooked.

Sounds yum. Did you put ginger in it? I no longer have the recipe however that is what I recall from my younger days and it too was amazing.

Yes, this time I grated the ginger. The first time I chopped it finely but not finely enough.

This entire post makes my mouth water. I can imagine how good the chutney is, and pairing it with roast duck sounds divine. Plus, of course, the wine...

Chutney I something I've never made before but maybe it is time to start. Rhubarb, ginger and what else goes in it?
