Today I saw a hotel described as hip. And another one described as cool.
I would welcome explanations.

I can't remember where it was but last year I saw a sign: Chill by our log fire.

For starters, hip and cool means they try to wash the sheets less often.
That said, we recently stayed in a hotel that provides a record player and vintage vinyl, which I have to say is pretty hip and cool.
