Grits for breakfast. It came back to my memory after reading about savoury porridge. Although savoury porridge is not my thing, I really liked grits. Here in Switzerland I can't find grits in the stores, only the traditional Italian polenta. Besides that, in the mornings I'm too hardpressed for time to cook grits for 40-50 minutes...it's more seomthing for a hearty, late weekend breakfast. But lovely, especially on a cold winter day.
