Can someone please tell me or post a Link as to how anyone is found guilty in these cases that have been going through the English Courts recently?
There's no DNA evidence as it happened so long ago so it's Word against Word with, maybe, some witnesses?
So the Judge asks "Did you cup her breasts and place a hand on her bottom?" "No" replies the Defendant. "Did he cup your breasts and place a hand on your bottom?" "Yes" replies the Appellant.
Who knows? It's Word against Word.
How come so many are being found Guilty?

Similar fact evidence is very strong when presented to jury's. If the prosecution cant prove a connection between the women and they present the same evidence inclusive of physical and particular body descriptions, inclusive of similar fact sequencing of actions, phrases used by offender etc
The evidence is very powerful and hard to defend.

But that is my point - I think!
There is no DNA evidence and, obviously, no physical evidence to go on so it's all down to 'word against word' and surely that's not enough to be 'Beyond reasonable doubt' in this Blame and Shame and Sue for Money society we live in now?
Surely all the Defendants have to do is say 'It never happened'?
How have the Prosecution proved it happened beyond reasonable doubt?
There so must be some doubt there!
