For reasons that are too complicated to explain, I have a SuperSaver Return ticket from London Paddington to Exeter - via Taunton - that is going spare.
It is valid for about 3 more weeks.
If you know of anyone who wants to take 2hrs 15 minutes to get from London to Royal Devonshire then please PM me and I will post it to you/whoever.
(I used the Outward journey bit and the Return cost me £85.50...)

No takers?
Does anyone know of a Charity I can send it to?
I know that train tickets are, technically, 'Non Transferable' but like they will find out!

When I was booking trains from London, I thought the fares were expensive, considering the travel time. £85.50 is almost AUD$170, that's a lot of money for a 2 hour train ride there and back. I found a return ticket for £50.50, (specified train only. No refunds), around $100, which is still a lot of moolah.
A Melbourne to Sydney return would cost me $130 (around £65) and that's a 12 hour journey (almost) one way.

Nice Nifty 50 there, Lincs!
That £50.50 would have been out of Waterloo and not Paddington and takes over 4 hours instead of just over 2 hours.
I think that the train fares from The Smoke down to the South West are always expensive as people who live in the Smoke want to get to the nearest beautiful Countryside, Moors, sea and surf as quickly as possible and the South West has it all.
